Both silver and black are fine. I bought 3cm and used it, but 2cm is also fine.
Cut off the stretched pad and the adhesive cutting surface came loose, so no lighter is needed.
Once you sew a little, the bed pad won't move, which is very good.

Bed pad without bands: Cut the stretched bands and attach them to make it firm.
I bought a size 2, but I made a mistake in choosing the size. Size 2 is more comfortable to sew with.
I think I'll buy 3 more pieces; 1 meter is enough for one bed pad, but there will be a little extra, so I recommend 5 meters or more.
